Small counts, no visitor profiles.

PyQED records anonymous daily totals for homepage views, documentation pageviews, successful installation-command copies, and outbound clicks to PyPI and GitHub.

What is not collected

The counter stores no cookies, IP addresses, user-agent strings, referrers, URLs, query strings, session identifiers, or personal data. Counts are grouped only by UTC day and event name.

Retention and interpretation

Daily aggregates are retained for 400 days. They measure events, not unique people, and public traffic can include automated requests. Use them as directional trends rather than exact audience totals.

The latest 90 days of aggregate counts are available from the public, non-indexed analytics endpoint.
